However, the F-C circuit also has obvious disadvantages. The fuse base is not as widely applicable as the vacuum circuit breaker due to product performance and protection coordination. The need to replace the fuse after the action has a certain impact on the operation. There are many equipment specifications and the selection design is relatively complex.

Compared with vacuum circuit breakers, F-C circuits have the advantages of low cost and small footprint. Therefore, the combination of vacuum circuit breakers and FC circuits in engineering can effectively reduce the cost of switchgear and reduce the footprint of power distribution equipment for factories.

 

In terms of manufacturing, with the rapid development of science and technology and manufacturing level in my country in recent years, the main equipment in the F-C circuit cabinet can be domestically produced with reliable quality. At present, some joint ventures of internationally renowned brands in my country also use domestic high-voltage current-limiting fuses in the production of switch cabinets. F-C circuits are rarely imported as a whole cabinet. In terms of use, F-C circuit switch cabinets with a short-circuit current level of 40kA or 50kA are currently used more, and products with a short-circuit current level of 31.5kA are used less. Products of 25kA and below have little supply performance due to their lack of obvious economic advantages.
